Application Title: Vehicle Sales Contract Office Application
Purpose: This Application uses Microsoft Word Template to allow a car salesperson to create a legal sales contract for a purchased vehicle and provides a loan calculator to calculate monthly payments for the amount financed.
Program Procedures: In a Word Document, the user can enter the information about the vehicle being purchased and creates a customized leagal sales contract. A loan calculator in the document actions task pane calculates the cost of the monthly car payment.
Algorithms, Processing, and Conditions:
1. The user first view Word document that includes a title and a table that displays a car and request information such as year, make, model, color, price and customer name. The date of the vehicle purchase should also be requested.
2. The Document Actions task pane should display a loan calculator requesting the interest rate, number of months, and the amount of the principal being borrowed for the car.
3. When the user enters the required data and selects the date of purchase, he/she can click a button to display a legal contract including personalized information pertaining to the purchase of the car. The contract should state:
PARTIES: This agreement is entered in between the Buyer, (Customer Name), and the Seller, RJ Motors, on the date of (Purchase Date).
VEHICLE: By this agreement in consideration of the representations made and the covenants herien contained, The Seller transfers, bargains, and coveys to Buyer, and Buyer purchases from from Seller, the vehicle hereinafter referred to as Vehicle described as:
The vehicle of the year (Year), make of (Make), model of (Model), and the color of (Color) has been purchased by the Buyer for the amount (Vehicle Cost).
4. The salesperson could also enter the interest rate, the number of months in which the loan is repaid, and the amount of principal into the loan calculator to calculate the monthly payment for the car.
Notes and Restrictions: 1. The car price and the car loan may be different amount based on the down payment.
2. The loan caluclator will display the month selections of 12,24,36,48, or 60 months. The user can enter the number of months other than the numbers on the list.
