Project management tools and techniques are used to solve the challenges and problems the Eurotunnel project will face. The PMBOK tools and techniques used are Gantt Chart, Critical Path Method (CPM) and Project Evaluation Review Techniques (PERT). For example, if the Eurotunnel project is the construction of a new tunnel to link England and France. The activities necessary for the completion of this project along with the relevant information for each activity are listed in the following table 1 below.
