This is a project throughout the semester, we are getting it finished step by step.

For this time, we are only working on the red highlined parts. First, a one page outline for the big project(Single space, "well plan"). Second, look up some basic info(statistics) forhighlinedresearch questions, then turn those data into writing(no more than one page with double space) for the presentation/speech. i.e. data must be cited.

Mobile Marketing Project Description

Objective: Teams will need to create their own mobile and digital marketing campaigns

Teams: There will be 6 teams made up of 5 students each.  The professor will assign a region of the world for each team.  The team then needs to pick a country from that region, company that operates in that country, and a product/service associated with that company.  The company can be a domestic or international brand, but they must do business in the country that the team has chosen.

First assignment: Each team will be required to submit a one-page proposal outlining the country, company, and product/service your group as chosen for the class project.

2nd assignment: (Please see the syllabus for assigned dates for each region) Each team will have a region presentation.  You will need to provide information on this region as it pertains to country and mobile demographic information. Country information should include a country's population, young vs old population, developed vs emerging market, GDP (Gross Domestic Product), main industries and economic drivers, ease of doing business, and any other information that you believe is relevant for this country and will aid your presentation.  You will also need to discuss mobile demographics such as mobile penetration rates, smartphone proliferation rates, consumer insight on how customers use their mobile devices, mobile commerce and money data, and any other data or information that is relevant.  Each presentation will require power point visuals and will be 10-15 minutes in duration.

Final assignment: (Due April 25th) Teams will present their mobile and digital marketing campaigns for the company and product/service they have chosen.   You will need to clearly state what the marketing goals and objectives are for the campaign, competitor analysis, market positioning, who your target audience is (segmentation), which marketing channels and messaging you will use to reach your target audience, what promotions you will run, and which metrics you will use to track the success of your campaign, i.e.; downloads, purchases, new subscribers, etc.  Each presentation will be 20-25 minutes in duration.

Written Report: (Due April 25th) Each team will need to submit a 3-4 page written report to complement their presentation.  The written report should break down in detail everything that was presented and included in the power point visuals.
