Design at least two methods to measure the i-v characteristics of a circuit
There are various methods to investigate the behavior of a device. Obtaining i-v curve is one them. This graphical tool shows the relationship between the applied voltage to the device and the current flowing through it.
In this lab, you are expected to build a nonlinear circuit and get its i-v characteristics using two different methods; make sure that one of the methods displays the characteristics on the oscilloscope screen. The circuit must include at least one diode (could be a Zener diode) and one resistor, at most four diodes and eight resistors. Your circuit should not have a trivial i-v characteristics; for example, a short circuit, or an open circuit is not accepted. The range should be large enough to show all critical information.
