The US Constitution's First Amendment clearly purports to protect the right of "individuals" (human beings) to exercise their religious beliefs. Even so, as with all rights, there are limits. For example, if a religious practice were to involve child sacrifice the federal government would be empowered to prohibit that practice despite the constitutional guarantee. Next, consider the issues when the religious actor is a corporate person and not an individual person or persons. Briefly explain why, or why not, corporate persons should be guaranteed the same rights as individual persons under the First Amendment.
