The uniform guidelines are designed to aid in the achievement of our nation's goal of equal employment opportunity without discrimination on the grounds of race, color, sex, religion or national origin. How employers staff their companies is very important. All employers have different methods or systems that help them navigate through their staffing processes. Although every employer may have different processes, these uniform guidelines are universal. As mentioned in our text these guidelines have not changed in over 30 years.?
