The term project will involve analyzing trade between two countries for a single industry. Data will be drawn from the World Integrated Trade Solution (WITS).
Here is a preliminary list of countries that you are not allowed to use in your term project: Albania, Argentina, China, Cuba, North Korea, Venezuela, Viet Nam. More may be added as your proposals come in. Reminder: my instructor must approve ymy country pair and product group in advance.
Term Paper Mechanical Details
The written report should be 5-10 pages double-spaced. This includes graphs, calculations, equations, and/or tables. It should not have a cover page. The paper should use a standard font with at least 11 point type. Do not use comic sans ms. Bauhaus 93, or any other goofy font. Your paper should have four sections:
1. An executive summary of one paragraph.
2. An introduction describing the data you used.
3. An analysis of the data including graphs, statistical estimation, and explanations of what you found.
4. A conclusion describing what you found.
