Tiger Advantage is a sales brokerage firm that helps secure distribution, placement, and sales of consumer products across multiple channels. Several years ago, the executive teamnoticed that there was a consistent level of employee turnover - especially with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Sales Development Managers (SDMs). Feeling that the right, long-term talent was not being hired, the company retainedthe services of a recruiter. Four years have passed and while turnover has decreased, it still exists.
Purpose of the Study
Tiger Advantage has now seen an increase in employee retention, but the executive team wants to determine how use of a recruiter correlates with long-term (i.e. greater than two years' employment)retention, since utilization of a recruiter is a significant cost expenditure. The executive research team has been tasked with completing a research study to determine if the utilization of a recruiter has in fact been the key factor in the increased retention of employees.
