Write an annotated bibliography. An annotated bibliography is brief summary (at least 150 word) of the reference which is called an "annotation.". The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, of the sources cited. An example of the annotated bibliography can be found in the Assignment Section.
What should be included in your annotated bibliography? It should include three (3) peer-reviewed journal articles from the APUS/AMU's online library academic databases. Students can find peer-reviewed articles in the following academic databases: ProQuest, Sage, etc. Don't forget---these articles must be related to criminal justice, criminology or security related topics.
This annotated bibliography must be written in the APA format. This means it must include a title page with a running head, a page header and an abstract. Since the annotated bibliography is a summary of the peer-reviewed articles, you will not have to include a reference page for this assignment.
