Question: The psychological contract. Bellou (2007) tested how well employees adjust to organizational change in terms of the psychological contract. This contract refers to employees' belief that their on-the-job performance while employed will be fairly recognized. She tested employees working in a merged or acquired (M&A) organization who had also worked at the premerger organization for at least 6 months. Employees completed a 5-point scale for a variety of measures (both pre- and postmerger), with higher scores indicating more positive perceptions. She measured a variety of factors, including beliefs concerning opportunity to promote, high pay, and pay according to performance. Pre- and postmerger scores were compared using a related-samples t test. Results reported in their study are given in the following table.

(a) What is the decision for each measure?
(b) The sample size for this study was 255 employees. Compute proportion of variance for each measure using omega-squared.
