The project objective is to design and build an interactive Matlab based interface meant for a complete steady state analysis of to a transmission line (short, medium and long). The design is using table A4 data. The interactive analysis is including single circuit and double circuit (vertical, horizontal triangular configurations), the bundle number is up to four conductors per phase. Use all voltage levels of table 5.2 for testing.

Parameters

The study covers both lossy and lossless case, practical and maximum line loadability using three methods.

Line operation

The percentage Voltage regulation, the line losses and line efficiency is conducted based on 80% of the thermal limit of the line for any power factor. The plot of the voltage profile along the line is required

Series and shunt compensation design

Both compensation type can be at both ends of the line or in the middle of the line, symmetrical or unsymmetrical configuration to improve the line performance index at loading level.
