Can someone help me answer this question?
In a busy marketing consulting firm, 30% of the employees are aged 20-29 years, 40% are aged 30-39 years, 20% are aged 40-49 years, and 10% are aged 50 years and over. The personnel manager of the firm is interested in knowing whether age is a factor in the taking of sick days. She takes a random sample of 100 sick days and finds the following distribution of sick days by age group:
Age No. of Sick Days
20-29 years 26
30-39 years 37
40-49 years 24
50 years and over 13
Is it true that majority of individuals that take sick days are 40-49 years?
