The number of segments in the chain

Consider a completely unstructured dna chain of length 5200 base pairs. Based on a random walk model, the root mean square distance (r) can be approximated as: r = d(N)1/2 where d is the average distance between neighboring bases (3.4 Å) and N is the number of segments in the chain:

A) Assume that the two ends are contained in the volume of a sphere whose radius is the root mean square distance between the ends. Using this volume (2 ends per unit volume), calculate the molar concentration of these ends (Avogadro's number is 6.02 x 1023). This approximates the effective concentration of the ends.

B) What is the effective concentration between the ends if you consider the characteristic ratio of dna?
