The mole fraction of ammonia in exit gas from the tower is

Air contains 0.09 mole% ammonia at 68 F and 1 atm. It is sent to a packed tower (6.07 inch in diameter) where pure water is used to absorb ammonia. Gas flow rate is 390 ft3/min while pure water enter the bed at a rate of 24.6 lb/min.

The overall mass transfer coefficient is assumed to be 4.6 lb mole/hr.ft2. Ay. The mole fraction of ammonia in exit gas from the tower is 0.003. Assuming isothermal operation and considering the following equilibrium data calculate the height of the packed bed.
