The length of time the patient could be on the pump

For implants that contact flowing blood (like LVADs, blood pumps, etc.), there is a risk of leukocyte depletion from white blood cells adhering to material surfaces. For an experimental indwelling blood pump, the leukodepletion rate was experimentally determined to be 0.1g/L pumped blood. If the normal cardiac output for a human is approximately 0.1 L/kg/min, what is the leukodepletion rate? Assume the patient is an average male. If the critical white blood cell count is 4x10^9 /L, what would be the length of time the patient could be on the pump? Model the cell as a sphere of water 10 microns in diameter.
