the integrated management project is not intended

The Integrated Management Project is not intended to be an academic research report and the markers will not normally expect inclusion of a literature review or hypothesis testing. You are, however, expected to develop an in-depth managerial report that clearly draws upon appropriate techniques, models or frameworks that are mentioned in the course material. You can assume that the markers will have knowledge of these concepts. Where concepts are included from other books, articles or academic sources outside the course material then it is good practice to reference these.

Henley's preferred method of referencing is the so-called Harvard system. This involves putting the author's name and the year of publication or access (if a web reference) in brackets in the sentence where the reference is made and then including a list of sources used, arranged alphabetically by author in the bibliography. For a full guide to the Harvard referencing system, please visit the Learning Assets in e-Library at xxx.
