The heat produced from the reaction of 100 g of al as in

The following reaction is known as the thermite reaction ; it is very exothermic. Theiron produced in the reaction is a liquid. (Iron has a melting point of 1537 celcius)

2 Al (s) + Fe2O3(s) -> Al2O3 (s) + 2 Fe (l) ? H = - 825 kJ

a) Calculate q for the reaction when 10.0 g of aluminum reacts with excess Fe2O3
(HINT: The ? H given is for the entire reaction; consider how much aluminum was used to produce - 825 kJ of heat.)

b) The heat produced from the reaction of 10.0 g of Al (as in part a) was used to heat 500 g of water. The initial temperature of the water was 23 celcius. What was the final temperature of the water? Would the water boil?
