Rubric for Constructive Case Analysis Paper (eBay, or amazon)
You must remember that the essence of your case analysis is to demonstrate the functionality of the course (Managerial Economics). That is, the applicability of what you have been taught in class. As such, your paper must be empirical by nature, well structured, and reflective of the essential ingredients of the course. An itemization of important concepts and a framework of analysis have been provided below.

Micro and macroeconomic data analyses. Analyses must include at least three of the following, including macroeconomics: an estimate of demand or supply, consumer behavior and elasticity, the cost of production, profit maximization, market structure, indices of market power and litigation of market concentration, macroeconomic performance (including unemployment, inflation, and fiscal and monetary policies), and economic models.

Analysis of Cases
|
An analysis of managerial decisions, business ethics, market failure or success, consumer optimism, profits, cost, and macroeconomic performance. A synthesis of the micro and macro environments is essential and not optional. While a comparative case study is optional, comparative case studies provide very good opportunities for analytical or very critical presentations.

Critical Evaluation
|
Based on the discussions in class and your text, you must be able to make an independent and critical assessment of your economic data. Such an assessment must include projections that are based on current and prospective indicators.

Conclusion
|
Your conclusion is what ties your paper together. As such, it must summarize the contents of your paper, ranging from your premise to your last substantive argument.

While footnotes are optional, References must be provided at the end of your CA paper. The APA style is preferred.
