When it comes to the geography of religion, two of the main research interests are:
the diffusion of different religions from their place of origin to new locations and religion and conflict over places.
Select one of the geographies above as the focus of your essay response, and address the geography of religion in that context. In your answer you should address any of the following that are relevant to the geography you selected: who, what, where, why, and/or how.
For example, in the case of diffusion you would address things such as what religion, where it originated from, and how it reached other places.
In the case of conflict, you might discuss what religions are involved in conflicts, the location in conflict or where the conflict is occurring, and why there is conflict. The use of specific examples and groups is necessary for a superior response, as is correct terminology when appropriate.
