The design of Example 10.3 determined a lead network in order to obtain desirable dominant root locations using a cascade compensator Gc(s) in the system configuration shown in Figure 10.1 (a). The same lead network would be obtained if we used the feedback compensation configuration of Figure 10.1(b).
