Compassion and the Dalai Lama
Compassion is an important virtue in Buddhism. The 14th Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhists, has encouraged compassion to those who hurt us and even torture us. Many Buddhists even encourage compassion in dealing with terrorism.
