 Guns will always exist in any circumstances even if it's legal for a civilian to obtain or not, criminals repeatedly find ways to get them. People must understand by banning guns, our vision of being a legal and responsible gun owners will be taking away (Brooks, 2017). As the Second Amendment states, "the right to bear arms" only to protect ourselves from a dangerous event. According to statistics, having a gun reduce crimes and helps the community feels safety in their neighbor (Brooks,2017). For example, in the U.K. Britain, the control of guns is very strict and data show that about 2,000 crimes that have occurred in a 100,000 population (Brooks, 2017). While, in the United States 466 brutal crimes have occurred in a 100,000 population (Brooks, 2017). Our rights are important and should not be corrupt in any situations. Most of the time, children are the ones who get shot by accident in their home and is due to irresponsible parents who do not lock the gun and keep in a security box (Brooks, 2017). The Second Amendment was recommended by James Madison and approved in 1791 and James Madison believes in the interpretation of individual rights and providing safety for ourselves and for the family (Brooks, 2017). The Bill of Rights perform a statement of freedom and public safety for every person and must be respected under the law.
