Discussion Topic 1
The best way for you to decide which type of fertility control is to look at the different methods available. There are several newer methods of fertility control either currently in use or near completion of testing. These include: Implanon, Mirena, Yasmin, Seasonale, Lybrel, NuvaRing, Ortho Evra, Plan B, the Today Sponge, Yaz, a vaccination and a male pill.
- Select two of these methods (from the list above) of fertility control and compare and contrast these two methods. This should include active ingredients, mode of action, effectiveness and side effects.
- Describe the advantages and disadvantages of both.
