The Arrhenius equation is used to explain the dependance of the reaction rate coefficient, k, on temperature, T. Linearize the Arrhenius equation for the the temperature dependance of chemical reaction rate coefficients. Consider the coefficient at a steady temperature to be 120 1/s and an energy of activation E = 23000 kcal/kmole, estimate the error in the slope of the function in the range +- 10 C around a steady temperatuve value of 300 C (573 Kelvin). Use Matlab to plot the actual function k(T) in the range 290 C to 310 C.
