The aim of the course is to give fundamental knowledge of supply chain management and establish understanding of logistics terminology and concepts and thereby be able to apply the most important methods for analyzing, developing, monitoring, controlling and implementing material flows in industrial and commercial supply chains.
The aim is realized by theoretical studies but as well by working on a project that gives insights into specific areas of logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the context of the Gulf region.
a deeper knowledge and understanding of a selected topic or approach related to logistics and supply chain management in the Gulf region context, practice in the creation and dispersion of logistics and SCM knowledge through search and evaluation of existing knowledge /literature as well as the formulation, organization and presentation of new knowledge.
The paper should be based on a literature review, taking its starting point in a conceptual or empirical research question related to the selected topic. The paper should be analytical.
