2. Registration - 2 minutes

3. Buffer - 34 people waiting for triage

4. Triage - 5 minutes

5. Buffer Prescription - 10 people waiting

6. Doctor Prescription - 5 minutes

6a. 90% of the patients go the doctor prescription route

7. Buffer Admit - 2 people waiting

8. Doctor Admit Only - 30 minutes

8a. 10% of the patients go the doctor admit route

a. Complete the Inventory, Throughput, and Flow time table as the process currently is described.

b. What is the current flow time for each type of patient in this process?

c. New information has come to light that 15% of the patients who are originally classified as prescription only are reclassified as admit and then return to the buffer for admit and then see the doctor as well. Revise the table to reflect this change.
