1) The ability to create genetic code using new/novel nucleotides (X and Y) opens many opportunities to create new proteins with novel amino acids not currently used by life on earth. You have a new amino acid (not one of the "natural" amino acids used by most life on earth to produce proteins) you would like work with to create a novel protein in E. coli. Describe two biological capacities that would have to be available in your bacteria to allow the bacteria to "routinely" produce your desired protein (routine=processes normally associated with current commercial fermentation/protein production and does not require an exceptional level of additional support or addition of external components)
