TEST TUBE BABY -

1. Ova are fertilized in laboratory dish (in vitra) containing a nutrient broth.
2. It may be artificial insemination donor (AID) / Artificial insemination husband (AIH).
3. After 2.5 days, at 32 cells stage, embryo is placed in uterus for implantation.
4. Mother will give birth to a normal child after completion of gestation.
5. The success rate of it is 20%.
6. First test tube baby was born in England as Louise Joy Brown (girl) on 25th July 1978.
7. First test tube baby was born in India on 6th Aug. 1986 named Harsha (girl).

Note :- A developing embryo can be inserted in the uterus of another female (surrogate mother).
