Telephone Interview:
The telephone interviews is used when the information to be collected is limited. The telephone interview is used i lieu of personal interviews. It is most frequently used when the information has to be collected quickly and inexpensively. However it is not as versatile as personal interview as it is difficult to handle over the telephone information need probes. The telephone interview is suitable for inquiry about information just released or telecast by radio or television. The respondents may be asked whether they watch the particular programme regularly . what are there views about the programme? The indirect and unstructured questions not suitable for the telephone interview.
