Topic: The United States Contribution to the Abuse of Workers in Developing Countries by outsourcing business production.
Guidelines
You will give an oral presentation in class on the given topic on which you wrote your Research Essay.
A. Your presentation will be timed. Presentations under four minutes will be penalized, and I will stop you at five minutes exactly. Otherwise we will not be able to fit all of the presentations into two class periods.
1. You are permitted to use a stopwatch or other time-keeping device when you speak.
2. Given the time limit, you will be able to only give us an overview of your argument in your presentation. Be as succinct as possible.
B. You are required to hand in a formal outline of your presentation at the time you give you speech.
1. This outline should be in standard outline format. That is, it should be structured hierarchically with Roman numerals first, capital letters next, and then Arabic numerals, just like the text you are reading now
2. Include a works cited page citing the same sources you used in your essay.
3. PowerPoint presentation
4. State your thesis, make an argument for it, offer support, and consider objections. You will have to strip out everything in your Research Essay except the bare essentials.
