1. Explain the background and development of theoretical ethical approaches.
2. Compare and contrast absolute and relative ethics.
3. Give a range of examples of ethical issues which can affect the operational activities of a business and provide some explanation of each one.
Task -2 :
1. What is an "objective"? Explain how the objectives of a business can be affected by ethical consideration.
2. Give examples of a range of business stakeholders. What can businesses do to promote ethical behaviour in respect of these stakeholders?
Task-3
a. What is a "moral agent"? To what extent is it true to say that a business is a moral agent?
b. How can business get their employees involved and empowered in relation to the ethical performance of the business?
Task -4:
1. Choose an ethical issue which currently affects a business of your choice. Do some research on this and explain it. How do you think the business you have chosen could improve the ethics of its operations whilst meeting objectives and ensuring good employer/employee relationships?
2. What is a "code of ethics"? Design a suitable ethical code for an organization of your choice.
