Problem: Once you are fully certified as an RBT, you are authorized to 1. a. Take private contracts so long as you know a BCBA or BCaBA with whom you can ask questions when you need to do so 2. b. Accept a 1099 as a private contractor with different autism service agencies so long as you have regular phone and/or video access to a BCBA in the different agencies with whom you contract 3. c. Only provide RBT services as part of a clearly defined role as an agency W-2 employee which includes ongoing supervision 4. d. Provide supervision hours to other RBTs so long as you have at least 3 continuous years in that position
