(a) Take a walk around the major business neighbourhood in your home town or city and identify the major features of the working capital cycle of a few businesses - for example, bakery, grocery, airlines, manufacturing company, retail trader, wholesale trader, etc.
(b) Obtain the audited annual reports of a few listed (in the stock market) companies engaged in different business activities and calculate the operating cycle, working capital cycle and explain how the working capital requirements are funded.
