Write a computer program to develop a Linear Support Vector Machine SVM. Your program should be able to incorporate and answer the questions given below. Prepare a report and deliver the report together with a data set (Reuters 21578 corpus or other multiclass text classification corpus) and program code. The grading for the assignment will be based on the written report, program code. The programming language will be Matlab and using any standard SVM library is not allowed. Though using a library to just solve the optimization problem in Linear SVM is permissible.
1. Interpret the results you obtained with different values of penalty multiplier parameter in Linear SVM.
2. Discuss how you can increase the generalization property of your Linear SVM?
