1) Recall the social issues related to the 3 Grand Challenges you identified in Week 1:
a) Securing a healthy development for all children
b) Close the health gap
c) Putting an end to family violence
2) Review the policy recommendations for the Grand Challenges that relate to each social issue.
3) Identify current policies and regulations that relate to each social issue.
4) Select 1 policy per social issue (3 total) for further review.
5) Write a seven- to one thousand fifty -word summary of the policies in which you:
a) Summarize the content of each policy.
b) Examine political and economic factors that influence and drive these policies.
c) Explain how these policies seek to affect social justice initiatives.
d) Describe how these policies may affect the micro, mezzo, and macro levels of social work practice.
