CARING CANADA is a nonprofit organization helping children in less developed countries obtain food, clothing, shelter, and basic education. The organization invites citizens to sponsor individual children with monthly donations. Your charity's main fundraising activity takes place during the pre-Christmas season.
As part of its Christmas drive to collect donations, CARING mailed an attractive brochure to Canadian homeowners featuring high-quality products at discount prices. The brochure featured chocolates from renowned Canadian chocolate maker Moose Delights. This company produces chocolate from cocoa grown on plantations sponsored by CARING; there is no child labour involved. For every package of Moose Delights bought by CARING's customers, $2 is donated to the Christmas charity program. By Christmas, Moose Delights had collected $250,000.
