Problem: Submission of a recording of a real-played counselling session with one of your fellow students, demonstrating the use of the MI spirit, open-ended questions, affirmations, reflective listening and summaries and self-evaluation of your work in the session. Make a 10-minute segment to transcribe, and then analyse - i.e. provide a self-assessment of your level of basic skills demonstrated, that is, those skills listed in previous paragraph. Your comments should also include some alternate statements/questions that, on reflection, you think would have been more effective in facilitating client progress, and why you think this.
