Psychology is study of the mind and mental phenomena. Psychology is significant as a social science because our mind is both the recipient and the centre of initiative of all activity of our lives. It is our minds which orient us toward reality and find out the kinds of interactions and experiences which we employ in. All other social science and all of culture are conditioned by our mental activity.
