Using American Rhetoric (www.americanrhetoric.com) as your resource, listen to (or read and/or watch) one speech and write a 500 word essay evaluating the strengths AND weaknesses based on your knowledge of 1) verbal and/or nonverbal communication and 2) forms of support.
Rubric:
For each of the following (Cut and paste this rubric at the bottom of your essay.):
1. A 500 word analysis of the speech that identifies the strengths and weaknesses related to the verbal and nonverbal aspects of your selected speech.
2. Three reference to our text, on-line readings and/or lecture that support your claims of the strengths and weaknesses of the speech.
3. At least two excerpts from the speech to illustrate what you consider to be the a strength and/or weakness.
4. APA in-text citation and a reference page.
5. An error free essay (spelling and punctuation).
