Properties of Network Links
1. Strength: a great deal of communication between two people, or importance of communication to participants, or has endured for a long time
2. Symmetry: Do two people involved in the link have the same relationship with each other?
3. Multiplexity: Supervisor-subordinate relationship is asymmetrical where as the coworker-coworker is symmetrical. Also multiplexity refers to the number of different contents (work, social, innovative ideas).
