Assignment Task: Here is the case study -
Heath:
Heath (four years) attends preschool five days per week. Heath is generally anxious and nervous. Heath's parents have high expectations for Heath to succeed in every aspect of his life. Apart from attending preschool, Heath also goes to violin, swimming and pre-kinder tutorials.
Heath has begun to develop a stutter. Educators have noticed that his stutter becomes worse when he talks to his parents or is required to speak in a group situation.
Heath's dad thinks that Heath's stutter is a sign he is becoming lazy with his language, and is always very angry and impatient when Heath stutters.
Here is the question -
If Heath was at your service, and you noticed his stuttering becoming worse, describe some support strategies you could implement to assist Heath.
