Problem: As discussed in your book and the lecture videos, there are two main strategies for companies to compete, cost leadership and differentiation. Choose two companies (one may be a company you currently or have previously worked with) in the same industry, one that utilizes cost leadership and one that utilizes differentiation. Discuss how they differ in their approaches and whether you think they achieve their strategy goal or not.
