In chapter 20, you will be learning about the appeals process and what defendants may challenge on appeal. In practice, a defendant usually raises one to six major points on appeal as a basis for reversal of the trial court's judgment or sentence. Often these points are referred to as assignments of error. For this week's discussion, please state which claim is being raised on appeal.
