Guidelines for Final Paper
All papers will be written following APA guidelines. All papers will also include the following sections and all sections, except for cover page, will be headings in the paper.
Cover page: Title of project.
Introduction:State the Thesis of your Paper and develop it in the Introduction. Specifically, provide about 1-2 pages in which you provide the rationale for your thesis or question, explain its relevance to the course, and elaborate on its meaning. For example, what questions do you plan to address, why should you address these questions, how do they fit in the larger context of health care organizations, and what are your tentative underlying assumptions or expectations.
Research findings: Create a 4-5 pages, discuss the major findings and arguments that support or refute your thesis, topic, or question. Cite sources appropriately. Organize your ideas by concept, not by source.
Analysis and synthesis: In 2-3 pages, present your own analysis and thoughts about the problem. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the points of view, positions, and arguments of the authors? How would you interpret the findings of your research?
What elements seem to have been overlooked or ignored by the authors? Provide alternative explanations when appropriate, etc.
Conclusion: 1 page. Summarize your work and present 2-3 "take home" conclusions.
References:only cited references are included. A minimum of 4 references are Required
