Please read the Report instructions closely and create your draft of at least 650 words. Click this link to access the Peer Review area.
Upload your draft as an MS Word doc or docx file. The draft must be uploaded no later than Thursday midnight.
To complete the review, select any two (2) student entries with drafts attached with this one restriction---look at the number of 'comments' listed. If there are already two (2) comments posted to that Journal entry--you must move on to another draft. You will click on 'comment' and copy/paste your review on the student's journal entry.
Address the following:
1. State the thesis and discuss its effectiveness. What about the thesis grabbed your attention? Give at least one suggestion on how the thesis can be made 'even' more effective.
2. Was MLA format used throughout? How did this impact your view of the paper's presentation?
3. Was the paper written in third person point of view? Were two credible sources used? (Discuss any problems with source credibility)
4. Were all paragraphs fully developed to five or more sentences? Did all supporting paragraphs contain direct references to source material correctly cited using MLA format?
5. Name three specific areas the report excelled.
6. Name three specific ways in which this writer can improve this report. (Do not say, "I wouldn't change a thing--it's a fabulous paper. All writing can always be further polished and refined.)
