State the Layers of retina
The retina is coil~posed of ten layers:
a) Pigmented epithelium (outermost layer),
b) Neusoepithelium, rods and cones (photoreceptors),
c) External limiting membrane,
d) Outer nuclear layer,
e) Outer plexiform layer,
f) Inner nuclear layer (bipolar neuronsj,
g) Inner plexiform layer,
h) Ganglion cell layer (ganglion cells),
i) Nerve fibre layer, and
j) Internal limiting membrane (innermost layer).
