Paper Instructions
Introduction: State and explain your topic in a paragraph. State why the issue is important to you (paragraph); explain the most important issues addressed in the statement (paragraph).
Length of Introduction: about 1-2 pages, double-spaced.
Body: In this section, you will:
You will discuss how your topic relates to the literature. This is typically done by engaging with the literature - so your literature review will come here - which are basically the 8 articles you reviewed but arranged thematically - along with making a case for why what you are studying is important and how you are filling a gap in the literature. You will also identify weaknesses in the literature.
Length of Body: about 5 pages or more, double-spaced.
Conclusion: Summarize your issue and your reaction to the issue, drawing on your arguments of defense for your opinion.
Length: about 1 page, double-spaced.
Paper Guidelines:
You will need a cover page with your name, the course name, and your title. You will also need to include a reference page. You must use any acceptable format for your citations.
Excluding your cover page and references, the paper itself must be 7-8 pages, double-spaced, using 12-point font. Use normal margins (1'' all around).
But because you are also to submit a cover page and your references, the number of pages you submit will exceed 8. Begin the paper near the top of the first page... no need to space down several times. Only the title of the paper and your name are necessary on the first page of the paper before you begin the actual paper. You will lose points for failure to comply with these guidelines.
