Assignment problem: Select a manufacturing company of your choice and complete the following:
1. State and describe the company's core competency (or competencies).
2. Describe and elaborate on the company's value-position(s).
3. Provide 2 to 3 examples of how your chosen company executes on their value-position. For example, what strategies does the company use to connect with, retain, and/or support its customers? What customer-facing systems do they provide? What internal processes, disciplines, cultures, or practices do the company employ that aligns and support their value-position?
4. What production process type does your chosen company use as its main transformation process? See week 2's lecture for the various production process types.
