Different Lives
Each student must develop and deliver a multimedia presentation that explores globalization and it's impact on individuals through the description of two different, impacted lives. The lives can be real or fictional people. The two lives must represent different effects of globalization brought about by different "positions" within global society. In other words, pick two very different people both impacted by the same aspect of globalization but who are impacted differently because of their differences.
Overview of Process
Step 1. Write a one-page draft proposal for your final, individual, multi-media presentation.
Step 2. Discuss your proposal, present it to peers, and evaluate peers' proposals (in class).
Step 3. Submit peer evaluation forms (of peers' presentations).
Step 4. Review peer evaluations of your proposal, revise your proposal, submit final proposal.
Step 5. Give presentation.
