Communication is significant consideration in organizations, and the number of different constructs fit in the communication viewpoint. What types of the leader communication attitudes and activities contribute to productive behaviours by organizational members? What sorts of leader communication activities and attitudes contribute to unproductive behaviours by organizational members? What different motives may people (and the organization) have for communication? In other terms, are organizations and organizational members, comprising leaders, always attempting to offer clear and open communication or are there alternative motives? If so, what might they be? Under what situations might communication in the organization be most effective or productive?
